Tyler was a beautiful boy from Sue Tapp's Castlehill Irish Water Spaniels (www.castlehillirishwaterspaniels.com). He lived to be over 12 1/2 years old and he was a very healthy dog with a wonderful temperament, great drive and wonderful trainability. He was a High In Trial (HIT) obedience winner at the 1989 National Specialty at the tender age of 2 years old. He has produced 16 champions (one of the highest in the breed) including a Best in Specialty Show winner. He has also produced many great performance dogs with great temperaments and trainability. I'm very excited about this breeding as it goes back to a dog in Scout's pedigree that I think will be very complementary in terms of conformation, temperament, and trainability.
